Fermanagh has only two listings, both centred on Enniskillen. Fermanagh Beekeepers Association is a cross-border group that also welcomes beekeepers from Tyrone, Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan and Sligo. It meets monthly in Enniskillen, runs beginners' and intermediate courses and has its own apiary. It encourages beekeepers to use bees proven to suit local conditions and discourages bringing bees in from outside the island of Ireland. It also holds an annual honey show, usually in August.
The Croft Farm Shop, on a family farm near Enniskillen in the Fermanagh Lakelands, sells Fermanagh honey alongside its own preserves. It is worth checking before making a special trip.
Use the listing details to choose how to buy, then contact the producer before travelling.
The directory does not track live stock or harvest dates. Availability, collection, delivery, prices and seasonal varieties can change, so ask the producer to confirm what is currently available.
