Kinross has become a meeting place for Scottish beekeeping. In recent years the Scottish Beekeepers' Association has held its annual convention and the Scottish National Honey Show at Loch Leven Community Campus in the town.
Webster Honey started in 2016 with two hives in Kinross and puts its profits into more hives. It sells Scottish blossom honey, runny and set, honey with comb and flavoured honeys, as well as beeswax candles, and runs school classes and honey workshops.
