Local Honey Brightwell cum Sotwell, WallingfordBrightwell BeesMagnolia House, Sotwell Street, Brightwell cum Sotwell, Wallingford, OX10 0RGBrightwell Bees is run by Viv and Steve Moll, artisan beekeepers based at Brightwell cum Sotwell, a village near the market town of Wallingford in South Oxfordshire. Their beehives are situated across the surrounding South Oxfordshire and West Berkshire villages, producing genuinely local honey that reflects the flora of the region. In addition to honey, Brightwell Bees produces pure beeswax blocks, which have practical applications such as filling scratches in wood floors or lubricating wetsuit zips. The business operates exclusively through a network of local stockists — they do not offer online delivery or sell from their home, emphasising a commitment to community and local retail. Their honey can be found at a variety of independent shops, farm shops, delis, village stores, and local businesses across the Wallingford area and beyond.
