The business started as Honeybee Suppliers and now manages more than 1,000 colonies of Buckfast bees, with the couple and their team involved in everything from building hives to bottling the honey.

The range includes Cotswold wildflower, summer, lime flower, starflower and creamed honeys, a raw honey, and an English honey with added pollen, along with flavoured honeys such as cinnamon and brandy. Lucy also leads a line of hand-made, honey-inspired skincare – soaps, hand and body balm and wash, face cream, body scrub and beeswax lip balm. Large 33lb buckets of polyfloral honey are sold for collection only.

Honeymakers honey is stocked across the Cotswolds and north Oxfordshire, including National Trust shops at Upton House, Hidcote, Snowshill Manor and Chedworth Roman Villa, Blue Diamond garden centres at Evesham, Moreton-in-Marsh and Nailsworth, Broadway Tower, Wykham Park Farm Shop and Hook Norton Brewery. It can also be ordered online for delivery.
