Hoods Honey is an award-winning family beekeeping business based in East Lothian, Scotland. The business was founded by George Hood, who began making honey in East Lothian in 1950. George was personally tutored by Willie Smith of Innerleithen, widely regarded as Scotland's finest beekeeper and the designer of the hives still used by the majority of Scottish beekeepers today. George passed on his skills, knowledge, hives, and bees to his son Stuart Hood, who now runs the business.
