The Lake District Honey Co. is the honey production enterprise of Jim Lowther, based at Lowther Castle and Gardens in Penrith, Cumbria. Jim Lowther has had a long-standing passion for bees, and in 2015 he began farming them himself on the historic Lowther Estate. The operation has grown significantly and today boasts over 600 beehives spread across the estate's grounds.
