Loughshore Apiary, established in 2004 by Valentine and Chris, is located in the countryside near Greyabbey in County Down. The apiary focuses on helping the native Irish honeybee (Apis mellifera mellifera) thrive in Northern Ireland’s climate and landscape. Bees forage on a wide variety of local flowers, and honey is minimally processed to preserve its natural qualities. The operation also aims to support local ecology by promoting wildflower meadows and bee habitat improvements.
