Ludlow & District Beekeepers' Association (L&DBKA) was formed in 1942 to further the interests of honey bees and beekeeping across South Shropshire, North West Worcestershire and North Herefordshire. The association maintains its own apiary near Ludlow, which serves as the primary location for taster sessions and the hands-on elements of their beekeeping training courses. This apiary facility is part-funded through sales of their own honey, meaning honey purchases directly support local beekeeping education and bee welfare.
