Paynes Bee Farm is a family-run beekeeping business spanning three generations, with over 100 years of combined experience and approximately 75 million honeybees. Their apiaries are located across Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, with key sites within the South Downs National Park, providing bees access to a diverse and natural foraging environment. Their beekeeping methods have remained largely unchanged since the founder's grandfather's time, prioritising minimal disruption to colonies through careful, regular inspections. Honey is harvested twice a year — at the end of May and again in August —
