Reigate Beekeepers (RBKA) is the Reigate Division of the Surrey Beekeepers Association, founded in 1879 and operating as a registered charity (number 1026386) and has approx 200 members. We keep bees across multiple apiaries in South East Surrey, including a purpose-built teaching apiary opened in 2010. Other apiaries are kept mainly for honey production and some for enhanced training activities such as queen rearing and the breeding of breeding bees showing hygienic behaviour .
