Devizes is home to Wiltshire's county honey show. Every autumn the Wiltshire Beekeepers Association fills the Corn Exchange on the Market Place for its Bee & Honey Day, with the honey show judging, talks, candle rolling and stalls selling honey. Kennet Beekeepers Association meets at Bishops Cannings, just outside the town, and runs a free swarm collection service.

It now keeps bees around Potterne, Devizes and on Salisbury Plain, covering woodland, hedgerows, gardens and the Kennet and Avon Canal, and each apiary gives a different honey. The Bee Rookie has apiaries in Devizes and Bromham and sells its own honey alongside Buckfast bees, nucs and beekeeping experiences. The Wiltshire Beekeeper sells honey, beeswax hand cream and candles, gives talks and collects swarms.
