The bees forage across the farmland, hedgerows and gardens of the coastal plain. Spring honey comes from blossom and oilseed rape – pale, sweet and quick to crystallise – while summer honey comes from a much wider mix of wildflowers, trees and garden plants, so colour, flavour and texture vary from batch to batch. Every jar is extracted and packed by the beekeeper, and none of it is blended with imported honey.

Honey is collected from the house at Batchmere, handy for Selsey, the Witterings, Bracklesham Bay, Birdham, Sidlesham and Bognor Regis. Jars are also sold at The Shore Inn in East Wittering.

AnonA also raises nucleus colonies in its own apiaries for people starting beekeeping or expanding an apiary.
