Godshill Orchards is a family-run fruit orchard located in Godshill on the Isle of Wight, originally planted in 1996. The orchard has always relied on bees for pollination, and in recent years the Medway family — who have run the orchard since 2003 — expanded their apiary and developed a range of bee-focused educational and therapeutic experiences. The enlarged, enclosed apiary houses ten hives and is accompanied by a purpose-built viewing room, a specially commissioned observation hive with cameras, a bee physic garden with health-associated herbs, and a bee watering pond.
