Local Honey HaverfordwestGoodwood HoneyGoodwood, Boulston, Haverfordwest, SA62 4AGGoodwood Honey is produced by Hywel Thomas at Goodwood, Boulston, located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on the banks of the Western Cleddau river. The farm spans 375 acres of riverside land amongst ancient woodland of the Cleddau Estuary, an area designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), meaning the local flora and fauna are particularly rich and diverse. The honey is a wild, multifloral variety, produced from bees foraging on a wide range of wild flowers and tree blossoms including Bluebells, Hawthorn, Bramble, Clover, Lime, fruit trees, and numerous wild meadow flowers. Goodwood Honey is coarsely filtered and receives no heat treatment, preserving all natural elements and flavours — meaning it qualifies as a raw honey. Each harvest is subtly different depending on foraging conditions and the time of year, giving every batch a unique character. Honey is sold directly from the farm (by prior telephone arrangement due to limited supplies), and is also stocked at two local outlets. It is available by post in bespoke hexagonal 340g glass jars, which Hywel specifically chose over plastic packaging for quality and environmental reasons.Buying from this listingThis listing reports an outlet at Goodwood Honey.
