Local Honey CarmarthenGwenyn Gruffydd LtdBryn Bach, Carmarthen, SA32 8SERaw, unpasteurised Welsh honey from Gwenyn Gruffydd, a family bee farm at Dryslwyn in the Tywi Valley, Carmarthenshire, founded in 2010 by Gruffydd and Angharad Rees. It began with a single hive, given by a farming friend and kept in his parents' back garden, and has grown to hundreds of hives at sites across South Wales.

The main honey is a minimally filtered Welsh wildflower honey, which has won Great Taste stars in several years since 2017; depending on the season there is also Welsh heather honey, summer chunk honey and Welsh cut comb. Honeys are single-origin and never blended, and come from their own hives and from bee-farming friends in Wales. The range also takes in British honeys from other beekeepers – borage, lime, clover, ivy, spring set and wildflower – and a French lavender honey, clearly labelled as such, plus mini jars, gift sets and catering tubs. Angharad makes beeswax candles from their own wax.

The farm is also a large beekeeping supplier, selling hives, equipment, bee feed and live bees, and Gruffydd runs beekeeping courses there in summer.
