Pure Yorkshire Honey is run by Andy and Kay, a husband-and-wife team who keep bees on and around their own farm in North Yorkshire. They joined the Richmondshire District Beekeeping Association in late 2018 and began with their first colony of Carniolan bees. In early 2022 they expanded to include a colony of Buckfast bees, known for their gentle temperament. Andy has completed three years of formal beekeeping training and aspires to become a Master Beekeeper, while Kay oversees honey extraction, bottling, and the creation of bee-derived products such as lip balms, soaps, and other items made
