Swales Honey is a family-run beekeeping business established in 1975 by Trevor Swales, based in Osmotherley on the western edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Trevor began keeping bees at age 16, taking over from his father who had a couple of hives, and the original apiary site remains in use to this day. The business has grown from using traditional WBC hives to more practical, modern hives that are easier to manage and transport to flowering crops and onto the surrounding heather moors. Bees forage throughout the North Yorkshire countryside, producing 100% pure honey with no ad
