Local Honey SheffieldSheffield HoneyNethercliffe Barn, Hill Top, Stannington, Sheffield, S6 6GWRaw, unprocessed honey from The Sheffield Honey Company, which keeps around 300 hives across Sheffield and in the Hope Valley in the Peak District. Its Sheffield base is Nethercliffe Barn at Stannington, on the western edge of the city, and its High Peak base is at the Peak Park Conservation Centre at Thornhill, near Hope.

Two very different landscapes give a wide range of honeys: blossom, soft-set, borage, blueberry and apple orchard, plus bell heather and the prized ling heather from the moors. They come in small and standard hexagonal jars. The company also supplies bulk honey to restaurants, bakeries and brewers, and makes honey gifts and corporate hampers.

The honey is stocked widely. In Sheffield you'll find it in museum and gallery shops, delis, cafés, greengrocers, butchers and farm shops, from Kelham Island Museum and the Millennium Gallery to Knab Farm Shop, Whirlow Hall Farm and Our Cow Molly at Dungworth. Across the Peak District, look in shops and cafés in Bakewell, Hathersage, Castleton, Hope, Bradwell, Edale, Glossop and Buxton. Several local restaurants and pubs, Bradfield Brewery and a Sheffield soap maker use it too.Buying from this listingThis listing does not include a confirmed on-site outlet or verified webshop.
