Steve's Bees is a small beekeeping operation based in Norton, Stockton on Tees, run under the brand name 'Norton Honey'. Steve keeps bees and produces his own honey, offering three main varieties: Raw Liquid Honey, Soft Set Honey, and Heather Honey. The raw liquid honey varies in flavour and colour depending on what the bees have been foraging on, ranging from nearly clear to almost black. The soft set honey is made by gently heating granulated honey to around 35°C and then vigorously mixing it to break down the crystals, resulting in a smooth, buttery texture ideal for spreading on toast.
