Glenn's Honey Bees took up beekeeping in 2018 after a swarm turned up in the garden, and it now has apiaries at Tickhill, Rossington and Rother Valley Country Park. It sells honey alongside handmade products from its sister business, AlisBazaar. More Bees Please sells unpasteurised, minimally filtered honey and beeswax products online, and runs bee experience days, school visits and hive management for schools and businesses.
Rotherham Beekeepers Association holds winter meetings from September to April and runs a beginners' course each May.
