Local Honey PwllheliMêl LlŷnEisteddfa, Llannor, Pwllheli, LL53 6YGRaw, unpasteurised Welsh honey from Mêl Llŷn, a family beekeeping business at Eisteddfa Farm, Llannor, near Pwllheli on the Llŷn Peninsula.

The first hives were kept at Eisteddfa in 2016 and the apiary has since grown into a small commercial bee farm, trading as Davies a'i Gwmni. The honey is never heated or blended and is sold by the season: a light spring honey, a summer wildflower honey and a limited autumn honey, plus a soft-set honey made from their own raw honey with a little Welsh rapeseed honey as seed.

They also make hand-poured beeswax candles, honey fudge using their summer honey and encaustic art in beeswax, and sell overwintered nucleus colonies of bees. Across North Wales they offer humane removal and relocation of honey bee nests from homes and businesses.

Mêl Llŷn honey is sold in shops, cafés and delis around the peninsula – including Plas Glyn-y-Weddw and Crugan Farm Shop in Llanbedrog, Becws Islyn and Spar on Y Maes in Pwllheli, Terry's Family Butcher and Londis Talafon in Abersoch, and Y Deli Newydd in Criccieth – as well as at Bodnant Welsh Food in the Conwy Valley and at local events.
