Local Honey CaernarfonThe Snowdonia Honey Co.Tyddyn Whisgin Bach, Caernarfon, LL55 2TLRaw, unpasteurised Welsh wildflower and heather honey from The Snowdonia Honey Co., a small farm at Caeathro, near Caernarfon, with more than 120 hives spread across apiaries in the surrounding Snowdonia countryside.

Owner Alun started the business after moving to the farm in 2018, beginning with a couple of hives. The honey is cold-extracted and only lightly filtered, and the farm's location keeps the bees away from oilseed rape and other commercial crops. The range includes Welsh Wildflower, a soft-set wildflower, a Spring Wildflower from lowland and coastal apiaries, Pure Snowdonia Heather from ling heather on the mountainsides, and a heather and wildflower blend. Several have won Great Taste awards. There is also a hot honey made with Dylan's restaurants, and Welsh honey gift hampers.

Honey is sold online and sent by tracked post.
