The Honey Store is a small family business founded by Les, who was introduced to beekeeping as a boy by Mr Beattie of Woolsington near Newcastle Airport. Based in Clifton, Morpeth, Northumberland, the business is registered for food production with Northumberland Authorities and is classified as a micro business by Trading Standards, producing approximately 2 tonnes of pure raw English honey per year. Les also has a background as a carpenter, previously crafting traditional WBC garden beehives now found in gardens and rooftop apiaries across the UK, including the Natural History Museum in Lond
