Llangattock Apiaries is run by Anthony Smith, a member of both the British Beekeepers' Association and the Bee Farmers' Association, based at Lower Lodge, Llangattock, near Crickhowell in Brecknockshire. Anthony first developed an interest in bees while living in South Africa, started his first hive in the Middle East, and moved to Llangattock in 2002 to establish the apiary along the banks of the River Usk, on the slopes of the Black Mountains in South East Wales.
